Welcome to Selca

Selca are placed on the eastern side of island Brač and occupies an area of 52 km2. They have approx. 1000 inhabitants.  Sea nearest are two settlements - Puntijak and Ružmarin, where is offered an accommodation and vacation for the tourists. Selca has an interesting history and rich cultural tradition. Although  relatively small place, town offers a few cultural monuments  such as sculptures of Lav Nikolayevich Tolstoy,  Stjepan Radic,  His Holiness John Paul II,  Hans Dietrich Genscher and Alois Mock. Genuine white Stone from island Brač– the symbol of Selca – provides development of stone industry from which is builded a beautiful houses, churches and castles surrounded by exquisite parks and gardens. From that same stone was build a White House in Washington D.C., USA and many other famous buildings all over the world. Selca enjoy in undisturbed view towards the sea, which leads to the beautiful beaches such as Puntijak, Radonja, Ružmarin, Spilice and Zirje.
Sea is crystal clear. There is always a tranquil inlet only for you. Yes, even that is possible because you arrived in the one of the rear corners of our planet where you can be alone and enjoy in full beauty of intact nature.
Selca is also modern small town, equipped to offer visitors everything they need for pleasant vacation.
